Lone Station Simmentals

SELLING OUTLETS

Lone Station sells bulls at the Queensland Simmental Bull Sale, Australia’s Largest Simmental Bull Sale at CQLX Gracemere on the last Monday of July each year.

Lone Station Simmental Bulls are working in commercial herds today all across Queensland at locations including Banana, Marlborough, Moura, Sarina, Nebo, Theodore, Charters Towers, Clermont, Alpha and more.

Lone Station Simmental Stud has sold stud sires to three Queensland Simmental Studs (including two of the oldest established) and registered females into another Queensland stud-based operation. Lone Station backed up a 100% clearance at spring sales in 2017 and 2018 with sales prices well above Queensland averages and for 2018 one of the highest in Australia. Although not big in scale Lone Station Simmental Stud is big on performance. Lone Station has also sold bulls locally which we believe is important. 2021 was another outstanding year for Lone Station at the Queensland Simmental Bull Sale averaging $13,333 and topping at $20,000.

Without a conventional selling outlet in 2019 bulls were sold out of the paddock and in 2020 the sale of a limited offering of bulls was trialled using digital marketing.
